Description
Lelederik is the Duchess of the Ellvaldez region within the Balt-Rhein Empire and one of the main antagonists in the story. She is the niece of Emperor Goldbalt XI and stands third in the line of imperial succession, after her cousins Günther and Gustav. Her claim to the throne came after the deaths of her father and older brother, which positions her as a figure of significant political influence within the empire.

Physically, Lelederik is a strikingly beautiful woman with a diamond-shaped face, a broad forehead, narrow lavender eyes, and thin eyebrows. She has a small mole on the left side of her chin and paints her fingernails black. Her hair is a deep burgundy color, long and wavy, reaching below her left knee, and is typically parted in the center. Despite her noble status, she rarely wears traditional aristocratic gowns. Instead, she prefers tailored suits and pants when visiting the capital, and a sleek black battle suit during military campaigns that prioritizes flexibility and mobility over heavy armor.

Her personality is unconventional for someone of her rank. While she can display elegance and refinement when needed, she is defined by relentless ambition and a formidable presence in both military and political spheres. Lelederik has a clear fondness for warfare, often taking personal pleasure in military campaigns and leading assaults from the front lines. This is accompanied by subtle sadistic tendencies, reflecting her appetite for battle and control. She possesses strong charisma, earning the unwavering loyalty of her subordinates. Rather than treating her troops as expendable pawns, she regards them as comrades-in-arms and leads with a rough but familiar rapport, which fosters deep patriotism among the soldiers of Ellvaldez.

Her motivations are closely tied to the expansionist goals of the Balt-Rhein Empire. Operating both in the open and behind the scenes, she works to further the empire's military and political ambitions. Her role in the story is that of a determined and capable antagonist who actively opposes the protagonist and his allies. She participates in key military campaigns, such as the invasion of Phoinike, and is a recurring obstacle in the larger conflict.

Lelederik is married to Wilhelm Meissner, though her relationship with the emperor and her cousins is shaped by her position in the line of succession, implying underlying tensions and rivalry within the imperial family. Her most notable relationship is with the Ellvaldez troops, who are exceptionally loyal to her due to her respectful treatment and shared sense of purpose.

In combat, Lelederik is considered one of the stronger characters in the series. She prefers to fight on the front lines, using a kukri—a curved blade—with deadly efficiency. Her fighting style emphasizes agility and precision, often aiming to eliminate opponents with a single, well-placed blow. Her lightweight attire and flexible build support this one-hit-kill technique. Despite her formidable physical condition, she is prone to seasickness.

Throughout the narrative, Lelederik remains a consistent and formidable antagonist, her development tied to her unwavering commitment to her empire and her desire to maintain her power and influence. She does not undergo a radical transformation, but her actions and decisions contribute significantly to the escalating conflict of the Great Rumeliana War.
