Fumimaro Ayanokouji is a 28-year-old police inspector serving with the Kyoto Prefectural Police Headquarters, where he holds the rank of警部. He comes from a noble family, a trait that has earned him the nickname Inspector Ojaru or the Noble Inspector. Ayanokouji is known for being consistently polite, though he can also display a sharp and snarky wit. Having been promoted quickly due to his evident competence and intelligence, he is regarded as a highly capable investigator who prefers to base his conclusions on concrete evidence rather than circumstantial details.
