Michelle Watagi, who goes by the nickname Mimi and often refers to herself in the first person as such, is a student at Shinjugamine Girls' Academy and a member of the Battle Girl division. She is of mixed heritage, with a Japanese father and a French mother. Her family is known for their dexterity in crafting, making dolls with articulated joints and creating clothes for them, and Michelle herself is skilled at making stuffed toys and clothing. She has an older sister who attends a specialized school for garment making. Physically, Michelle is a young teenager of small stature with orange hair that she typically wears in twisted buns with small tufts left loose, and red eyes. She is part of the performance units Chuuuuu Lip and Pixie and uses the Unicorn star dress in battle.
