Kon-chan, whose official name is Konnosuke, is a small automaton who serves as a vital supporting character in the anime Katsugeki: Touken Ranbu. Created in the distant future by the Saniwa, he is a highly advanced machine brought to the past to aid the Touken Danshi, or sword warriors, in their missions to correct and protect the flow of history. His background as an artificial being from the Saniwa's own era makes him a direct extension of the master's will, yet he possesses a distinct and gentle consciousness of his own.
