Description
Misaki Shirogane is a third-year high school student who serves as the student council president of her school. She comes from a notable family in Hinano City, and her aunt holds the position of the city's governor. Misaki is earnest and hardworking, yet she is frequently plagued by bad luck and is often teased for being unpopular. Despite these setbacks, she remains sincere and optimistic, qualities that allow her to earn the trust of those around her. Her birthday is August 9, she stands 159 centimeters tall, and she has a fondness for traveling to power spots.
Motivated by a desire to revitalize Hinano City, which has fallen into heavy financial debt and declining popularity, Misaki conceives and spearheads the Action Heroine Project. After witnessing two of her fellow students, Ann Akagi and Mikan Kise, put on an amateur hero show for a young child, she recruits them into the project. She then expands the team by putting up a call for applicants, which attracts costume designer Mana Midorikawa, technician Genki Aoyama, and later others such as singer Yuki Aoyama and aspiring heroine Hatsuri Momoi. Misaki's best friend, Roko Kuroki, initially hesitates to ask to join but eventually becomes a key member, taking on the role of a villain in their performances.
Within the Action Heroine Project, Misaki acts as the organizer, director, and host of the live shows performed by the group, which becomes known as Cheer Fruits. She handles the logistics, manages the budget, and works to promote their original local heroine, Hina Nectar. When the group faces a copyright challenge from the popular heroine Kamidaio, Misaki leads the effort to create an entirely original concept that highlights the city's local fruits. She also works to secure a permanent venue, eventually settling on an abandoned train platform.
