TV-Series
Description
Momiji Mochizuki is an intern graphic artist who joins Eagle Jump during the second season of the series. She is nineteen years old, stands 160 centimeters tall, has short pink hair and blue eyes, and was born on January 17. She enters the company at the same time as Tsubame Narumi, her childhood friend from the same hometown, with whom she shares an apartment. Her family runs a dairy farm and a milk retail business, and she has an older brother who has taken over the family operation.

Her primary motivation for pursuing a career in game design is a deep admiration for the celebrated designer Kou Yagami. This admiration drives her to apply for an internship at Eagle Jump with fierce determination and later compels her to strive for a main character designer role. In the storyline, she competes with Aoba Suzukaze and Yun Iijima in an internal competition and ultimately wins the position of character designer for a new project, later becoming a main character designer for the game DDBZ. She primarily works as a freelance illustrator in addition to her part-time work at Eagle Jump.

Momiji is typically quiet, solemn, and stoic, often missing jokes or not engaging with humor because she sees casual conversation as largely unnecessary. Despite this reserved exterior, she is not fearful of talking to people; she simply does not see the point in it. She is also described as shy and clumsy when interacting with others, and her serious demeanor can make her appear rough or strict, but she has a somewhat clumsy and disorganized side, sometimes arriving at work in her pajamas if Tsubame does not look after her. She is fiercely determined and focused on her work, and she approaches tasks with a pragmatic and results-oriented mindset.

Her key relationship is with Tsubame Narumi, who acts as her caretaker and close friend. The two share the joys and difficulties of their work and living situation. Momiji holds Kou Yagami in the highest regard and regards Aoba Suzukaze, Kou’s direct junior, as a rival. This rivalry is a significant dynamic, as Momiji’s sharp design skills and intense competitive spirit push Aoba to improve. She consistently uses honorific language when addressing Aoba, acknowledging Aoba’s seniority despite her own competitive feelings toward her.

Over the course of the story, Momiji grows from a determined but socially awkward intern into a confident and capable professional who secures a major character design role, showing clear development in both her abilities and her ability to work alongside her colleagues. She is ambidextrous but primarily uses her left hand when drawing, and she is known for her strong design skills and her ability to focus intently on her work.
