Description
M'Quve commands forces within Zeon's Earth Invasion Force under Kycilia Zabi's direct authority. He ascends to leadership of Zeon's Earth forces after Garma Zabi's death in Los Angeles, overseeing crucial mining operations. During Antarctic Treaty negotiations, M'Quve orchestrates the release of captured Admiral Revil on Kycilia's command to escalate the Zeon-Federation war. He later equips the Black Tri-Stars with MS-09 Dom mobile suits for deployment.
M'Quve devises a plan to strike Revil's fleet using nuclear missiles based on Alegranza Island, violating the Antarctic Treaty. When Fleet Admiral Gopp ignores his ultimatum threatening destruction of Washington, New York, London, and Paris unless the Gibraltar attack halts, M'Quve initiates the missile launch. This scheme fails as Cucuruz Doan, a deserter piloting a Zaku on the island, sabotages the missiles, causing their self-destruction after launch. M'Quve nonetheless acknowledges Doan's commitment to protecting Earth.
At the Battle of Odessa, M'Quve attempts another nuclear strike against Revil using a specialized Gaw aircraft, acting on intelligence from Federation mole Elran. Amuro Ray intercepts and prevents this attack, capturing Elran. Recognizing defeat, M'Quve orders his second-in-command, Uragang, to deliver a precious porcelain vase to Kycilia and explicitly forbids mass production of his custom YMS-15 Gyan mobile suit. M'Quve then launches a final counterattack in the Gyan, creating a diversion for his forces' retreat. He sacrifices himself by detonating a nuclear missile underwater at the Federation fleet's center, inflicting massive casualties.
Following his death, M'Quve manifests as a hallucination to Uragang during an assassination attempt against Amuro and the White Base crew. In this vision, he reprimands Uragang for disobeying his orders by reproducing the Gyan design.
