TV-Series
Description
Kamuri Sengoku is a student whose most immediately noticeable characteristic is her extraordinarily small stature. She is 136 centimeters tall and weighs 30 kilograms, giving her an appearance that makes her look much younger than her actual age of fifteen or sixteen. She has long, slightly wavy hair that she often wears with a distinctive ribbon. Her birthday is October 30.

Kamuri's personality is defined by a mix of profound shyness and quiet determination. She is a very timid individual who takes a long time to become comfortable around new people, even more so than her friend Hana Ichinose. When she is not in the presence of her close friend Eiko Tokura, she becomes hesitant and loses confidence easily. Her typical expression is often neutral or impassive, and she speaks in a straightforward, calm tone, sometimes punctuating her speech with four-character idioms. Despite her quiet nature, she has a surprisingly large appetite and loves to eat, though she does so at an extremely slow pace. Her leisurely pace can be such that she might start eating breakfast and not finish until sunset. She can also be somewhat absent-minded, once forgetting to put on her skirt before going to school.

Her primary motivation for much of her life has been her attachment to Eiko Tokura. Kamuri and Eiko spent two memorable days together when they were in elementary school. During that time, Eiko helped convince Kamuri's overprotective father to allow her more freedom, an act for which Kamuri and her entire family remain deeply grateful. After this period, they were separated. In the spring of her third year of middle school, Kamuri saw a girl she believed to be Eiko (who was in fact Eiko's younger sister, Miki) in a shopping district. Her voice was too quiet to call out and get her attention, so instead, she guessed the name of Eiko's intended high school based on this single sighting and took the entrance exam, hoping to reunite with her. Her parents supported this decision solely because of the possibility that Eiko might be there.

Within the story, Kamuri serves as a central figure whose dedication to reuniting with a long-lost friend becomes a key emotional thread. She is a member of the main friend group, which includes Eiko Tokura, Hana Ichinose, and Tamate Momochi. Her role is often that of a quiet but constant presence who is doted on by the others like a little sister or a class mascot due to her small size and cute demeanor. She looks up to Eiko and has a remarkably close relationship with her, feeling safe and secure when they are together. She also becomes close friends with Hana, whom she initially comforted by patting on the head, mistakenly believing Hana was younger than her. She has similarly affectionate relationships with Tamate, who calls her Kamu-chan, and even shares a love of sweets with her homeroom teacher, Kiyose Enami. She owns two cats, Nagomi and Sugomi, which she and Eiko rescued together in elementary school.

In terms of development, Kamuri gradually overcomes some of her shyness and learns to interact more with the world around her, while still maintaining her slow, gentle pace. She builds a new, happy school life with the friends she has made, finally achieving the reunion she had longed for. A significant marker of her growth is that after the school's culture festival, she takes on the responsibility of becoming the student council president during her first year of high school, a noteworthy accomplishment.

Despite her timid appearance, Kamuri possesses a range of notable abilities. She is surprisingly fast, particularly in running, and has been invited to join the track and field club after showing her speed in the 200-meter dash. She is also musically inclined, having studied piano and marimba. Academically, she holds several certifications, including pre-level 1 of the Japan Kanji Aptitude Test, a TOEIC score of 700, and a certificate as a towel sommelier. She also has a unique, finely-tuned ear, able to identify the type and number of coins simply by the sound they make when shaken in a piggy bank.
