Description
Kurosu Itō is a supporting character in the anime Two Car. She serves as the passenger for the sidecar racing team representing Kyoto Prefectural Amagase Girls' Academy. Her appearance is marked by blonde hair, blue eyes, and notably dull, highlightless eyes. In her everyday life, she embraces a black gothic lolita style, often accessorizing with a frilled black parasol, and she speaks with a Kyoto dialect. During the racing season she stays at the Mitsuwa Inn, the family home of fellow racer Megumi Meguro, which features a hot spring.
Her personality outside of competition is gentle and composed. She is unusually attentive to the behavior and strategies of rival teams, frequently observing their movements alongside her teammate Arisu Amano. This calm, watchful nature contrasts sharply with her racing persona. Once a race begins, Kurosu becomes fiercely competitive and vocally aggressive, displaying absolute confidence in her team’s ability. This dramatic shift has earned her the nickname “the fleet-footed gothic lolita doll,” coined by another character named Ai, which highlights both her speed in the sidecar’s passenger role and her flamboyant personal style. Her notable ability lies in her quick, precise movements as a passenger, helping her driver navigate the demanding courses. Kurosu Itō’s role in the story is that of a rival competitor, and while she does not have a central narrative arc, her portrayal consistently contrasts a serene, fashion-conscious schoolgirl with the aggressive, self-assured athlete who emerges on the track.
