Description
Cyberwarp is a Decepticon who appears in the 2015 animated series Transformers: Robots in Disguise. Operating in the post-war era on Cybertron, she is a member of an elite team led by the ruthless Cyclonus. Unlike many of her fellow Decepticons, Cyberwarp is characterized by a deep internal conflict regarding her faction's tactics, particularly as they apply to a galaxy no longer consumed by the Great War. She is notably uncomfortable with causing harm to humans and is disturbed by the unnecessary suffering her commander is willing to inflict to achieve their goals. This makes her a reluctant participant in the team's schemes, often voicing her concerns about their plans and questioning why the rest of the galaxy must suffer for Cybertron's benefit.

Within the story, Cyberwarp serves as the group's propagandist. As part of her team's plan to seize control, she takes a position on the Autobot High Council, using a Light Bender device to project a false image of her group as legitimate leaders. Her primary function in this scheme is to broadcast propaganda throughout Cybertron, delivering messages designed to manipulate the planet's population. Her motivation is not power or conquest but a genuine, albeit conflicted, desire for her people to find a better way forward. She seems to long for an alternative to the endless conflict between Autobots and Decepticons, a path where both factions could coexist peacefully.

Cyberwarp's most significant relationships are with her commander, Cyclonus, and the Autobot leader Bumblebee. Her dynamic with Cyclonus is one of reluctant obedience. While she is put off by his ruthlessness and disagrees with his methods, she feels compelled to follow his orders, even when she hesitates or questions him directly. During the final battle, Cyclonus forces her to participate in forming the powerful combiner known as Galvatronus, with Cyberwarp serving as the giant robot's right arm. However, at a critical moment when Galvatronus is about to destroy Bumblebee's combiner form, Ultra Bee, Cyberwarp disobeys and halts the attack, preventing the killing blow. Following the battle, an exhausted Cyberwarp directly expresses her hope to Bumblebee that a peaceful coexistence between their kinds is possible.

This act of defiance represents her primary character development: a shift from passive reluctance to active resistance. She begins as a conflicted follower who protests but complies, and ends as someone who takes a stand against her own commander, physically separating from the combined form to prevent a death she does not believe in. Her journey suggests a desire to abandon the old ways of war in favor of a new, more hopeful future. In terms of abilities, Cyberwarp is a Combiner, capable of merging with Cyclonus and three other Decepticons to form Galvatronus. Her function as a propagandist is supported by her use of the Light Bender device for holographic projections. For her alternate mode, she transforms into a Cybertronian VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) pod, a type of advanced aircraft.
