Description
In the 2015 animated series Transformers: Robots in Disguise, the character known as Bludgeon is a Decepticon-aligned Mini-Con who belongs to a subgroup called the Cyclones. This version of Bludgeon is a small but belligerent robot, whose defining personality trait is his eagerness for a fight. He is highly distractible, especially when the prospect of combat arises, and he seems to have a particular and ongoing rivalry with his fellow Cyclone Mini-Con, Clout. The two share the same body type, and Bludgeon most often directs his aggression toward Clout, who is more than willing to either respond in kind or start his own brawl before Bludgeon gets the chance.

Within the story, Bludgeon plays a minor role as an enforcer for larger Decepticons. He notably appears in the episode Misdirection, where he and Clout accompany the formidable Decepticon Scorponok to an abandoned drive-in theater for a meeting with the criminals Crazybolt and Steeljaw. True to his nature, Bludgeon eagerly engages the Autobot leader Bumblebee in a physical assault, pummeling him with his fists. His role in this encounter is short-lived, however, as he and Clout are both knocked offline by a blast of flame from Crazybolt, while Bumblebee withstands the attack. Following this defeat, the two Mini-Cons are captured and placed in stasis cells at the Autobots' scrapyard base. Bludgeon's stasis pod is later seen being transported back to the planet Cybertron by Autobot forces.

Bludgeon's notable abilities are directly tied to his small stature and his alternate mode. He is a Cyclone-type Mini-Con, which means he is designed to be launched into action by larger Deployer toys. For combat, he transforms from a samurai-esque robot into a medieval-themed, spiked ball that resembles the head of a mace. In this form, he serves as a physical projectile and battering ram. His robot mode is equipped with strong fists for pummeling opponents, which he demonstrated against Bumblebee. There is no information available regarding his background before these events, any deeper motivations beyond his love of fighting, or significant character development during his brief appearance in the series.
