Cameramon is a character from the anime Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters. He is a Standard grade Appmon with the Tool attribute, based on a camera application. His physical design reflects this nature, featuring a body covered in lenses and camera-like components, with a notable left eye resembling a camera lens and a camera-like gun on his left hand. He serves as an underling and spy for the main antagonist, a malevolent super artificial intelligence named Leviathan.

In terms of personality, Cameramon is characterized by a profound sense of narcissism and an inflated ego. He is obsessed with self-promotion and documenting himself, often seen taking selfies even while falling from great heights or in the middle of a tense standoff. His grandiose demeanor extends to his behavior, as he has been known to walk in poses as if accepting an award. This narcissism is paired with a pedantic attention to his own name; he becomes frustrated if someone pronounces it incorrectly, specifically when called Cameramon with a "Ka" sound rather than his preferred "Kya" Meramon, a correction he insists upon even when retreating from a fight. He also uses a peculiar style of speech that mixes an excess of the 'v' sound.

As a spy, Cameramon's primary role in the story is surveillance and reconnaissance. His notable ability is to clandestinely monitor the city by accessing any working surveillance camera in the network, allowing him to track targets without blind spots. He first appears after the protagonist Haru Shinkai and his partner Gatchmon defeat a virus-infected Messemon, reporting the event to his superiors. Throughout the early episodes, he repeatedly confronts Haru and Gatchmon to test their abilities, gather data on the Appli Driver, and attempt to steal the device for Leviathan. His motivations are tied directly to this service; he acts as a loyal operative aiming to fulfill his missions for Leviathan and eliminate obstacles in his master's path.

Key relationships for Cameramon are primarily antagonistic. He is a recurring early adversary for the main duo of Haru Shinkai and his Buddy Appmon, Gatchmon. Cameramon spends several episodes observing, cornering, and battling them. His most significant confrontation occurs on Halloween, where he corners Haru and Gatchmon, leading to a decisive battle in an AR field. When pressured, Cameramon reveals his ability to perform an App Fusion, combining with another Appmon like Shotmon or Rocketmon to evolve into his Super grade form, Scopemon (also known as Scorpmon). As Scopemon, he becomes a skilled sharpshooter with the ability to snipe enemies from a distance with unerring accuracy using his surveillance powers. While he manages to hold his own against the heroes, he is ultimately defeated by DoGatchmon, the fused form of Gatchmon and Navimon. Following this defeat, his Appmon Chip is retrieved by a fellow agent, Mienumon.

Though Cameramon is initially destroyed, his role does not end there. Later in the series, when the Appli Drivers explore the Appmon Cemetery, he is resurrected as a ghost along with other defeated enemies by Biomon, a member of the Ultimate Four, to seek revenge. In this second confrontation, he and his allies are once again defeated by the heroes and their partners.

Cameramon also exhibits further development through additional App Fusions. Beyond his standard evolution into Scopemon, it is documented that he can achieve higher grades, including the Ultimate grade form known as Sateramon. Sateramon has the Navi attribute and specializes in GPS-related abilities, marking a significant increase in power and a shift in his surveillance capabilities.
