She gathers Key Stones from Hoenn's Gym Leaders to perform a ritual at the Sky Pillar. When Rayquaza appears but fails to Mega Evolve, she despairs until another Trainer, Flora, intervenes by providing a crucial meteorite, enabling the transformation. Witnessing Rayquaza's power firsthand becomes her final request, leading to a concluding battle. After ensuring the meteor's destruction and the world's safety, she steps down from her role and returns to a normal life with her grandmother.

Her personality is marked by profound responsibility and solitary resolve. She dismisses technological solutions like the Devon Corporation's dimensional transporter as reckless. Amaryllis demonstrates a willingness for self-sacrifice, entrusting Chuchmur to Flora before the ritual. Though initially reluctant to rely on others, she acknowledges Flora's strength after their battle. Her bond with Rayquaza culminates when she bestows upon it the Draco Ascension ability, enabling its complete Mega Evolution. This act fulfills the Draconid prophecy and grants her personal closure.
