Description
Nanana Wanibe is a second-year college student who previously attended Hanasakigawa Girls High School, where she served as student council president. She is the leader and keyboardist of the band Glitter Green, which she formed alongside her fellow student council members. During her high school years, she was known for her strict and responsible approach to student guidance, exemplified by an incident in which she confiscated Kasumi Toyama’s guitar for being brought to school without a case after it had been broken. As a performer, Nanana removes her glasses while on stage, a detail that once caused Kasumi and her friends not to recognize her as Glitter Green’s keyboardist.

Nanana is characterized by a principled and ethical outlook, valuing high standards and self‑discipline. Her sense of responsibility carries over into her role as band leader, where she helps maintain the group’s cohesion and direction. Her primary motivation centers on upholding the integrity of her duties, both as a former student council president and as a musician. While strict, her actions are rooted in a desire to guide others and ensure that rules are respected.

In the story, Nanana and Glitter Green serve as an inspirational force for the main protagonist Kasumi Toyama. Their performance at the live house Space is a pivotal moment that convinces Kasumi to form her own band, Poppin Party. Nanana’s band thus acts as a bridge between the established music scene and the newer generation of girls beginning their musical journey.

Her key relationships are with the other members of Glitter Green: guitarist and vocalist Ushigome Yuri, bassist Uzawa Rii, and drummer Nijikki Hinako. These four shared both their student council and band activities, creating a tight‑knit group that carries their bond into adulthood. Over time, Nanana transitions from high school to college life, reflecting the franchise’s progression of time and her continued involvement in music.

Notable abilities include her proficiency on the keyboard and her natural leadership skills, which she applies to both academic and musical settings. Her strict yet fair demeanor makes her an effective organizer, while her willingness to remove her glasses during performances suggests a shift from her everyday persona to a more focused and expressive stage presence.
