TV-Series
Description
Kanade Tsukishiro is a supporting character who works as the manager for the idol unit Six Gravity under the Tsukino Talent Production agency. Before entering the entertainment industry, he was a university lecturer, but he took over his older sister's managerial duties after she retired from the role to get married. He is a calm, quiet, and amiable person who consistently presents a gentle smile and speaks with careful, polite language.
His primary motivation is the success and well-being of Six Gravity. Although the unit members are generally well-behaved thanks to the leadership of their leader, Hajime Mutsuki, Kanade actively encourages them to voice their desires and become more self-indulgent as performers, believing this personal growth is important for their artistic development. Despite Six Gravity being the first unit he has ever managed, he handles his responsibilities quite well. As their manager, he supports the members' busy activities and navigates challenges with measured composure.
In the story, Kanade's role is that of a supportive figure ensuring the smooth operation of Six Gravity's career. His key relationships include a friendly, collegial rivalry with Kurotsuki Dai, the manager of the rival unit Procellarum. The two get along well, often playfully boasting about their respective units' achievements and going out to drink together to celebrate successes or simply to unwind. The contrast between their surnames Tsukishiro, which can mean white moon, and Kurotsuki, meaning black moon, subtly highlights their complementary relationship.
While he does not undergo a dramatic personal transformation, his development is shown through his adaptation from an academic lecturer to a professional in the talent management field. He blends his organized, academically-honed approach with professional warmth, cultivating a harmonious environment for the idols under his care. He has light greyish-brown hair, brown eyes, and thin-rimmed glasses that frame his perpetually calm expression. Notable abilities include his skill in seamlessly managing a group of young idols, fostering their individuality while maintaining their professional status, and his generous, level-headed leadership style.
