Description
Masaharu Katsuta is a supporting character in the anime Trickster: From Edogawa Ranpo's "The Boy Detectives Club". He is an eighteen-year-old high school student with short, messy brown hair, tanned skin, brown eyes, and a muscular, athletic build. Originally a member of the Boy Detectives Club, he is no longer an active participant but remains connected to the group. In school, he is known as a serious and extremely popular student who is highly active in extracurricular activities, belonging to the tennis club, the judo club, and the gardening club. His physical training and competitive spirit make him a capable and reliable individual. When a crisis arises involving the villain Twenty Faces, he is approached by Kensuke Hanasaki and agrees to help transport the group to a rescue scene more quickly, demonstrating a continued sense of loyalty and willingness to assist his former teammates. His involvement in the story is brief but meaningful, as his athletic abilities and familiarity with the club's operations prove useful in a time-sensitive situation. While he does not undergo significant personal development over the course of the series, his actions reflect a dependable and community-minded personality. His key relationships are with Kensuke Hanasaki, who reaches out to him for aid, and Ryo Inoue, who observes him during tennis practice.
