Description
Lafter Frankland is a supporting character in the second season of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. She is a member of the Turbines, a transport and combat division under the Jupiter-based conglomerate Teiwaz, and serves as the primary pilot of the STH-14s Hyakuri, a highly mobile mobile suit. She later also pilots the STH-05R Rouei, STH-16 Shiden, and STH-20 Hekija.
Her background is not extensively detailed, but she is one of several individuals rescued and taken in by Naze Turbine, the leader of the Turbines, who offers former child soldiers and outcasts a place in his organization. Lafter is deeply loyal to Naze and the Turbines, viewing them as her family.
