Description
MEGU is a supporting character in the anime film LIP×LIP FILM×LIVE: Kono Sekai no Tanoshimikata. He is a member of the popular vocal and dance group Full Throttle4, also known as FT4, which serves as a senior idol unit within the same universe. MEGU is a third-year high school student and one of the group's main performers. In the story, when the protagonists Yujiro and Aizo are selected as a duo and ordered to form the unit LIP×LIP, MEGU, along with his fellow FT4 member DAI, is assigned to be their dance practice instructor. MEGU's personality is described as cunning and free-spirited, and he acts as a talkative mood-maker who brings energy to the room. He is skilled in dance and uses his experience to guide the reluctant pair through their initial rehearsals, despite their lack of cooperation. His role is primarily that of a mentor and facilitator, helping the two navigate the early challenges of working together. MEGU does not undergo significant personal development within the film, but his interactions highlight the contrast between the polished professionalism of an established idol and the raw, unpolished potential of the newcomers. His notable abilities lie in his dance proficiency and his talent for instruction, which he combines with an easygoing, sometimes teasing demeanor to keep the training sessions moving forward.
