For fifteen years, he hid the truth from Shun, raising him as a loving but deceitful father. His ultimate plan was to harvest Endora’s Warp Particles to the point of endangering the entire world, all for his own ambition and fame.

Asanaga’s key relationships are defined by his deceit. He is the adoptive father of Shun Asanaga, the main protagonist, and the husband of Makiko Asanaga, who was complicit in keeping Shun after she became unable to let him go. He is the murderer of King Alzerm and the betrayer of Delzaine. This makes him the sworn enemy of Prince Emilio, Delzaine’s nephew, who seeks vengeance for his father’s death.
