Description
Chuchun is a Super Sparrow that serves as a member of the Foxy Pirates, primarily acting as the mount for the crew's announcer, Itomimizu. This large bird is several times the size of an average human, featuring a dark purplish-brown beak, light brown back feathers with dark brown spots, and beige belly feathers. Like its rider, Chuchun wears a striped tuque that covers half of its head with holes for its eyes, a visual trait shared among members of the Foxy Pirates. In the special Adventure of Nebulandia, Chuchun is present when Captain Foxy challenges Monkey D. Luffy to a Davy Back Fight rematch and once again carries Itomimizu on its back to provide an aerial perspective of the events.
In terms of personality, Chuchun is not a highly expressive character but does demonstrate a degree of intelligence and emotional range. The bird typically communicates with sounds like "chyu" and has shown enthusiasm at the start of competitions. It can also display concern, such as when it looked worried after seeing its captain defeated by Luffy. These reactions indicate that Chuchun understands the situations around it and possesses a certain level of loyalty to the Foxy Pirates. Throughout the special, Chuchun also reveals a timid side, as it becomes frightened when pursued by large creatures.

The bird sadly witnesses its crewmates being captured but has no choice but to carry the two Straw Hats away from the danger. While fleeing, Chuchun flies into what appears to be a mountain, which is actually a giant snake-like creature called Kinoconda. The impact causes Chuchun to pass out, and later, when it regains consciousness and sees the creature chasing them, it becomes frightened and carries its passengers into the air. Despite its fear, Chuchun follows Chopper's lead to descend and help the trapped creature.

Though initially frightened and prone to fainting from shock, Chuchun ultimately fulfills its role by transporting its allies and taking part in the final battle against the Marines.
