Zorzal El Caesar, also known simply as Zorzal, is the crown prince of the Sadera Empire, a major power in the parallel world depicted in the anime GATE, where society and technology resemble those of ancient Rome. He is the eldest son of Emperor Molt Sol Augustus and the designated heir to the imperial throne. In the anime, he functions as the principal antagonist of the story's later phase, specifically the second season, when the war between the Empire and the Japanese Self-Defense Forces becomes the central conflict.
