Description
Noumu, also spelled Nomu, are artificial humans created by the villainous Dr. Kyudai Garaki under the direction of the crime lord All For One. They are deceased individuals whose bodies have been heavily modified to hold multiple Quirks at once and reanimated to serve as mindless super-soldiers. The process involves injecting several Quirks into a human corpse, causing it to come back to life as a deformed, powerful, but intellectually vacant being. Because the strain of multiple Quirks destroys their sanity, Noumu are incapable of independent thought or action and obey only direct commands from their handlers.
The personality of a Noumu depends on its classification. Lower-tier Noumu are completely mindless and act only on simple voice commands. They show no emotions or self-preservation instincts. Upper-tier and near-high-end Noumu exhibit low intelligence and can follow complex orders but still lack real individuality. High-end Noumu, the most powerful type, are capable of speech, strategic reasoning, and even retaining fragments of their former human personality.
