She is a great spirit who governs fire in the Celestial Realm and is considered the origin of all flame in the world, with her very body formed from fire. Physically, she has the appearance of a teenage girl with red eyes and brown hair that reaches her waist.

As a being of fire, Efreet has a notoriously short temper and is described as irritable. Despite this fiery disposition, her character undergoes significant development following a chance encounter. Meeting a boy named Akane, who lit a flame within her, deeply changed her.
