Description
Mystras Leoxses is the eldest son of Darius Leoxses, the Knight King of the Sasan Kingdom. As an apprentice knight, he was a candidate to inherit the title of Knight King, yet he found the strict and isolated creed of his homeland stifling. His deep curiosity about the world beyond Sasan drove him to secretly listen to travelers' stories and eventually seek permission from his father to leave. After gaining approval, Mystras became an envoy of Sasan within Sinbad's Sindria Trading Company, serving as a diplomat and a fighter. He is a lean yet muscular young man with red hair and a turban adorned with a feather, reflecting his noble origins. In terms of abilities, Mystras wields the Household Vessel of the Djinn Baal, which he activated during a sparring match with Hinahoho, thus becoming one of Sinbad's Household Members. His role in the story is that of a supporting ally who aids Sinbad's ambitions while pursuing his own desire to experience the wider world. His key relationships include his father Darius, his younger brother Spartos, and his comrades within Sinbad's circle, particularly Hinahoho with whom he shares a competitive bond. Mystras undergoes significant development from a duty-bound knight constrained by tradition to a more open-minded individual willing to embrace new perspectives. His motivations are rooted in a thirst for knowledge and a longing for freedom from the rigid expectations of Sasan. Tragically, his journey is cut short when he dies in battle against the forces of Parthevia, after which his brother Spartos succeeds him and later becomes one of the Eight Generals of Sindria. Despite his limited time in the story, Mystras leaves a lasting impression as a character who chose curiosity over comfort and paid the ultimate price for his convictions.
