Description
Miyu Kuroi, also known in Japan as Miyuki Kuroi, is a character from the MegaMan NT Warrior anime. By day, she runs an antique shop in DenTech City, where she also offers fortune telling to her customers. Her predictions, often made with a crystal ball she carries with her, are usually accurate, though not always clear or correct. In some stretches of the story, her ability to foresee events becomes unreliable or fails entirely. Beneath this quiet and mysterious public persona lies a secret identity: she serves as a Net Agent, a covert operative working alongside two other agents, Sal and Maysa, to protect the digital world from cybercrime. Her alias in this role is Mysteriyu.

Her personality is calm, reserved, and introverted, frequently speaking in an enigmatic tone that keeps others guessing. This cool and distant demeanor contrasts sharply with the more energetic and openly eccentric behavior of her fellow agent Sal. Despite her aloof exterior, Miyu is a dedicated ally who mentors and assists the young protagonist Lan Hikari in his battles against the criminal organization World Three. She enters the N1 Grand Prix tournament and faces Lan in a match, using her predictive skills to counter his every move. She appears to be on the verge of winning but forfeits the match, an act later revealed to be intentional, as she would have won had she continued. Later in the first season, her personality seems to shift somewhat, as her predictions grow less reliable and she participates in a dancing and singing contest, showing a lighter and more eccentric side. She also takes part in the final battle against the villain Grave alongside her Net Agent companions.

Miyu is the operator of SkullMan.EXE, a NetNavi whose skeletal motif complements her own macabre and mysterious aesthetic. In battle, her fortune-telling abilities allow her to anticipate enemy movements, making her a formidable opponent. In the manga adaptation, she possesses the unique ability to read the hearts of non-living things, including furniture, electronic devices, and NetNavis, a power that merges with SkullMan to enable precognitive combat. However, she cannot read the hearts of living beings, a limitation that ultimately leads to her defeat when facing MegaMan, whose human heart proves unreadable to her. Her character does not appear as an active participant in the Axess season, though a toy version of her Net Agent disguise makes a brief cameo in one episode. Miyu's role in the story is that of a supportive mentor, an ally in the shadows, and a mysterious presence whose unusual abilities and eccentric habits make her an intriguing figure within the series.
