Description
The Commander, whose true name is Iyo, serves as the leader of the secret organization DOGOO, which is dedicated to protecting humanity from the alien creatures known as Evolutionary Invasion Objects. Her own history is deeply intertwined with the organization she now commands. Originally from the ancient Japanese kingdom of Yamatai, she was a young queen who succeeded the famed ruler Himiko around the year 248 AD. After her kingdom was destroyed, she was approached by a mysterious alien being who would become her partner in establishing DOGOO. In order to carry out their mission across centuries, she was placed into a long-term stasis, awakening periodically to oversee the collection of genetic material from history's most influential figures, known as E-Genes, to empower future warriors.
The Commander is an elderly woman who typically appears calm, composed, and resolute, carrying herself with the weight of her extensive experience. Her long life, punctuated by periods of dormancy and loss, has shaped her core motivation. She is driven by a profound desire to protect the Earth, which she considers her one true home after seeing civilizations rise and fall. Within the story, the Commander holds the highest authority in DOGOO, making critical strategic decisions and guiding the younger E-Gene Holders.
