Masrur is a Fanalis, a member of the warrior clan known for extraordinary physical abilities. He is one of the Eight Generals of Sindria, having pledged loyalty to King Sinbad. Originally from the Dark Continent, he was taken as a slave and forced to fight as a gladiator in the Reim Colosseum. He met Sinbad during a gladiator match, lost to him, and subsequently became Sinbad's subordinate. Over time, he became a trusted general and also served as Morgiana's fighting instructor. Later, he moved to the Reim Empire to join the Fanalis Corps under the command of Muu Alexius.

Masrur is a tall, muscular man with red hair and red eyes, and he has a piercing on his lower lip. He carries a sword but is not particularly skilled with it, relying instead on his natural Fanalis strength and speed. He wields a Household Vessel called Bararaq Kauza, which he activates in combat, notably when enraged by an attack on Morgiana.

His personality is quiet and reserved. He rarely speaks and often appears emotionless or unfriendly, but he is genuinely kindhearted beneath his stoic exterior. He shows little outward emotion and prefers naps in his free time. He is especially protective of children, whom he considers a weakness. Masrur only truly listens to Sinbad and holds deep respect for him. His senior among the Eight Generals, Sharrkan, often picks fights with him, but Masrur generally does not engage.

In the story, Masrur acts as a combatant who maximizes his physical prowess rather than relying on magic or weapons. His role is primarily as a loyal enforcer and protector, contributing to Sindria's defense and later to the Reim Fanalis Corps. His development is subtle, as he remains consistent in his dedication and gradually shows more willingness to protect those close to him, such as Morgiana. His notable abilities include superhuman strength, speed, and endurance typical of the Fanalis, making him a formidable opponent even against magic users.
