Kyūma Inazuka is a third-year student at Sakimori Academy in the neutral nation of JIOR and a member of the volleyball club, often regarded as a dependable upperclassman by Haruto Tokishima and his peers. He possesses a cheerful and kind nature, always ready to assist his friends, while also maintaining a calm and pragmatic outlook during crises. A notable aspect of his personality is his frequent talk about making money and his aspiration to become rich, which initially seems to define his goals. However, after the death of his close friend Aina Sakurai during the Dorssian invasion, his motivation shifts from personal gain to a desire for vengeance, leading him to become a pilot of the defensive-oriented Valvrave V, known as Hiuchiba. He later takes on the role of Finance Minister in the New JIOR government, using his practical skills to manage the fledgling nation’s finances. Inazuka is a stabilizing figure among the other pilots, often calmly restraining the impulsive Raizo Yamada with reasoned advice. His development is marked by a growing sense of duty and selflessness, culminating in a final sacrifice: during a massacre of the module’s students, even after being called a monster by those he protects, he pilots his badly damaged Valvrave in a last attack to allow the escaping students to get away, giving his life to save them. In the future, he is remembered as the First Knight, one of the founding heroes of the Third Galactic Empire.
