Description
Hazuki Ferrari is the eldest of the three Ferrari sisters at twenty years old and a college student living on her own. She is studying law with the dream of one day becoming a prosecutor or lawyer, though her dedication to her studies is often hampered by her social life and a tendency to drink heavily, which leads her mother to worry that she is becoming an alcoholic. Her appearance is marked by her ginger or orange-colored hair, which she often wears with braids, and the red eyes that are a common trait among her family members.

In terms of personality, Hazuki is exceptionally frank and expressive, with her emotions and thoughts immediately appearing on her face as she says whatever comes to mind. She behaves in a wild and sometimes aggressive manner, which is most often channeled through her incredible verbal attack power, a skill that emerges whenever she encounters something she perceives as unjust or illegal. Her passion for the law is so intense that it can manifest in comical ways, such as when she attempts to negotiate an out-of-court settlement with a kidnapper by threatening them with a lengthy prison sentence for assault. This enthusiasm for justice extends to moral positions, as she strongly argues that acts like stealing are inherently wrong, regardless of the circumstances or the enemy one is fighting. Despite her chaotic and party-focused lifestyle, Hazuki possesses a sharp and brilliant mind that becomes evident when she applies herself.

A defining aspect of Hazuki’s character is her fierce protective instinct toward her two younger sisters, Kazuki and Hozuki. While the sisters are frequently at odds due to their very different personalities, Hazuki’s strong feelings of wanting to keep them safe serve as a core motivation for her actions throughout their shared adventure. She also displays a compassionate and principled side, insisting that the family share their scarce food supplies with a homeless person they encounter, arguing that helping others is simply the right thing to do.

Her role in the story is largely defined by her explosive and talkative nature, which often puts her in direct conflict with authority figures and antagonists. This tendency catches the attention of Cicinho, the flamboyant leader of a group called Black Ganymede, who finds her spirited defiance intriguing and gives her the nickname Bambina. Despite their initially adversarial relationship, which is described as being like oil and water, Hazuki eventually comes to depend on him for his strength and assistance in protecting her sisters. Her other key relationships include those with her mother, whom she calls Sylvie, and her father Geshio, as the family is separated and dealing with a history of conflict between the parents. Among her sisters, she is affectionately called Ha-nee by the youngest, Hozuki. Her journey with her sisters to clear their names after being falsely accused of terrorism forces her to move beyond her self-centered college lifestyle and fully embrace her role as a protector, using her legal knowledge not just as an academic pursuit but as a weapon for survival and a tool for upholding her sense of justice.
