Description
Professor Shōko is a character from the anime Kyousougiga who serves as a brilliant technical advisor and assistant to Kurama, one of the three ruling siblings of the mirror city known as the Looking Glass City. Her physical appearance is distinct and consistent, marked by her ever-present white lab coat with oversized, pointed lapels, which she wears over a white shirt and a blue necktie, paired with a blue pleated skirt. Her blue hair is styled into pigtails, and she has a beauty mark near the left corner of her mouth. She is almost never seen without her goggles, which rest on her head or over her eyes, and she carries a specialized remote control. The goggles grant her enhanced, cyborg-like vision, and the remote allows her to interface with and control much of the technology within the Looking Glass City.
Despite her youthful appearance, which suggests she might be a teenager, she is implied to be a grown adult, as there is a scene where she is depicted as being heavily drunk. In her capacity as Kurama's right hand, she is deeply involved in the administrative and technological management of the mirror world, helping to run the organization that monitors the city. A key part of her role is her command of the giant robot Bishamaru, a powerful asset she pilots and controls. Professor Shōko is not a lone operator; she has an assistant named Fushimi who works alongside her. Her relationships are primarily defined by her professional and loyal service to Kurama, supporting his efforts to maintain order in the city while the Council of Three awaits the return of their parents. Her abilities are almost entirely technological in nature, relying on her intelligence, her enhanced vision from her goggles, and her remote control's ability to manipulate the city's advanced infrastructure.
