Description
Gre chan is the youngest member of the Robot Girls Team Z, serving as the personification of the super robot Great Mazinger. She stands noticeably shorter than her teammates, at least a head shorter than Z chan, and has a distinct appearance featuring long, slightly messy purple hair designed after the hairstyle of Jun Hono. She possesses purple eyes and a face that is typically expressionless or blank. Her battle suit is modeled directly on Great Mazinger, consisting of a black jacket with blue cuffs, a red necktie, a v shaped emblem on the chest that resembles Great’s heat sink, a red skirt, black stockings, and blue boots.

In terms of personality, Gre chan is markedly different from her more energetic teammates. She speaks very little and is known for her cynical and sarcastic outlook. She frequently judges others for their flaws, including the team leader Z chan, whom she often calls kid despite Z chan being slightly older than her. She openly states that she dislikes athletic girls, with Z chan being the primary target of this criticism. Gre chan is also notably lazy, preferring not to get involved in fights or athletic events. She would rather sit around, play video games, and eat sweets. She is almost always seen holding something in her hands, such as a digital camera, a cell phone, or a portable gaming system. Despite her harsh and often mean spirited treatment of Z chan, she does harbor genuine concern for her teammate, as shown when she expressed worry over the presence of Minerva X and was visibly distressed to the point of crying when Z chan said she hated her.

Gre chan holds two known jobs outside of her duties as a robot girl. She works as a promoter for the Photon Power Laboratory and as a sales clerk at her parents' video game store. A younger version of the character, named Gre tan, also exists. In this form, she has the average height and weight of an elementary schooler, with shorter purple hair, large glasses, and typically dressed in overalls over a light green shirt while holding an older gaming system.

Through the use of the Brain Conder, Gre chan is able to manifest her battle suit and gain abilities derived from Great Mazinger. These combat capabilities include launching her fists for an Atomic Punch or Drill Pressure Punch attack, summoning the Mazinger Blade which can even cut through beam attacks, controlling electricity to use the Thunder Break attack, and creating a gale force wind with the Great Typhoon. She can also summon the Great Booster to fly, typically by sitting on top of it. However, she is prone to getting severe motion sickness when on a boat. A notable weakness is that her back is a specific vulnerable point, and she becomes weak if it is attacked.

An enhanced form, G Booster Gre chan, appears in the game Robot Girls Z ONLINE. This form attaches the Great Booster directly to her back, greatly enhancing her abilities and allowing for high speed flight. In this state, she can use new attacks like the Booster Sword and a combined technique called the Koshiryoku Beam Dynamic performed with her teammates. This form was developed partly due to budget constraints from the development of Z chan s Devil Scrander project.

In the separate narrative continuity of Robot Girls NEO, Gre chan is seen living in a ruined Nerima district following an unexplained photon energy disaster. She cohabits with Z chan in a home constructed from salvaged materials, named Photon House, at the base of the surviving Photon Research Facility Tower. This setting largely replaces photon energy with Getter Rays, though the two still use photon energy to power their home. Her role in this story focuses less on team battles and more on daily survival alongside Z chan.
