Description
Bitway Ozrock is an alien character who appears as the primary antagonist in the Inazuma Eleven GO Galaxy storyline. He serves as a member of the Galactic Federation Council and is the captain of the Ixal Fleet, also known as the Joke Fleet, where he plays as a forward wearing the number 10 jersey. In terms of appearance, Ozrock has pale skin and distinctive slanted, lime green eyes. His teal-colored hair is styled in a shape reminiscent of a beetle, with two long spikes extending from the sides, covering his forehead and cheeks. He typically wears a dark blue, dark brown, and white jumpsuit.
The character's background is rooted in tragedy. Two hundred years before the events of the series, Ozrock's home planet of Ixar was destroyed by the planet Falam Orbius. In the face of this destruction, 184 of his people managed to escape by entering a state of deep cryogenic sleep aboard ships. However, when they arrived at their destination two centuries later, only eleven individuals, including Ozrock, awakened from this slumber. This loss of his homeworld and the vast majority of his people became the driving force behind his actions. Consumed by a desire for vengeance against Falam Orbius, he and the other ten survivors formed the Ixal Fleet, dedicating themselves to exacting revenge and, ultimately, conquering the galaxy.
His personality is defined by this deep-seated anger and a cold, calculating nature. He harbors a strong hatred for Falam Orbius and is willing to go to great lengths to achieve his goals of both revenge and domination. In his interactions, he can appear as a mediator, but this is a facade that masks his true intentions as the mastermind behind the Grand Celesta Galaxy tournament. His motivation is twofold: to punish the planet that destroyed his home and to seize the immense power of the Cosmic Plasma Photon Cannon, a forbidden technology he intends to use to rule the galaxy.
In the story, Ozrock first appears on Earth three months before the main plot, confronting Axel Blaze to inform him about the Grand Celesta Galaxy tournament. To prove his power and the seriousness of the threat, he uses a strange soccer ball-like weapon to seemingly make the moon disappear, warning that Earth will be destroyed if it refuses to participate. He later reveals himself to the members of Inazuma Japan after their final qualifying match, forcing them to become the Earth Eleven and compete in the interplanetary tournament to save their planet. Throughout the tournament, he operates from the shadows, orchestrating events such as having Victor Blade replaced by an impostor to spy on the Earth Eleven. As the final match of the Grand Celesta Galaxy approaches, he puts his true plan into action, taking control of Falam Orbius's central facilities, disabling their escape ships, and revealing his identity and the history of the Ixal Fleet to the entire galaxy.
Ozrock holds several key relationships. He interacts with Axel Blaze as the initial messenger who forces Earth into the tournament. He is the leader of the Ixal Fleet, commanding its other ten members. He also holds the princess Catora Peiji captive, using her to manipulate the scientist Ptumri Emnator into completing the Cosmic Plasma Photon Cannon. He follows the orders of Queen Lalaya Obies of Falam Orbius, though he does so while secretly advancing his own agenda. The Earth Eleven, led by Arion Sherwind, are his primary opponents; he seeks to defeat them to complete his conquest, but their match ultimately becomes the stage for his downfall.
Throughout the narrative, Ozrock undergoes a significant development. He begins as a seemingly neutral representative of the Galactic Federation but is gradually revealed to be a vengeful mastermind. After his team, the Ixal Fleet, is narrowly defeated by the combined efforts of Earth Eleven and Galaxy Eleven with a score of 8-7, his plan collapses. Facing execution as a punishment for his crimes, he is instead pardoned by Lalaya Obies, who argues that his crimes are counterbalanced by Falam Orbius's destruction of Ixar centuries ago. She then offers him and his team a position as her advisors, leading him to accept responsibility and assist in rebuilding, effectively ending his long campaign of revenge.
In terms of abilities, Ozrock is a formidable player with a powerful kick. His known special moves include the shoot Stargazer, the dribbling move Shiny Feather, and the block technique Judgment Ray. He is also a user of a Soul, a spirit-like entity; his Soul is named Humour, an air-element creature that resembles a chimera and floats through space catching prey with its tentacles.
