Description
Natsuki Minamiya is an English teacher at Saikai Academy on Itogami Island, where she serves as the homeroom teacher of Kojou Akatsuki's class. Despite claiming to be twenty-six years old, she has the appearance of a young girl, a result of a contract with a demon that sealed her true body within a magical prison called the prison barrier. The figure that interacts with students and colleagues is an illusion or avatar, while her real self remains dormant as the guardian of that prison, which holds some of the most dangerous supernatural criminals. This dual existence defines her role in the story.
Known widely as the Witch of the Void, Natsuki is a high-ranking attack mage and a national attack mage officer. She is one of the very few individuals who knows that Kojou Akatsuki is the Fourth Primogenitor, the most powerful vampire. Outside of school, she assists Itogami Island Security in investigating crimes involving supernatural beings. Her personality is reserved and somewhat difficult to get along with; she has a particular fondness for high-quality black tea and is known for her gothic lolita fashion. She often maintains a detached, authoritative demeanor, though she does show concern for those under her protection.
