Description
Esri Tuatha Dé, a noblewoman born into House Viekone, married into the Tuatha Dé family. She is the mother of Lugh Tuatha Dé and shares an unspecified blood relation with Dia Viekone. Her lineage traces directly to the Viekone bloodline, granting her the inherited ability of D-Rank Aging Resistance. This power significantly slows her aging process after physical maturity, causing her to appear far younger than her actual age despite being in her forties.

In her youth, an aristocrat targeted Esri, seeking to exploit her Viekone heritage for powerful offspring. Cian Tuatha Dé, Lugh's father, intervened by kidnapping her out of love and protection, subsequently marrying her and founding their family. Before Lugh's birth, Esri and Cian lost an earlier child in infancy. When Lugh was born, Esri expressed reluctance about raising him as an assassin due to this past trauma. Cian persuaded her by pledging to protect Lugh at all costs.

Esri exhibits deeply affectionate yet overbearing behavior towards Lugh, often described as having a "huge son-con" complex. She frequently teases him and engages in boundary-blurring actions, such as dressing him in girls' clothing during childhood—a practice halted when Lugh began sternly reprimanding her around age 14. She actively encourages romantic relationships between Lugh and Tarte, even instructing Tarte to seduce him, leading to significant conflict upon Lugh's discovery. Her actions stem from a desire to remain involved in his life and sadness over his rapid maturity. Despite occasional airheadedness, she demonstrates underlying cleverness and understands the separation between family life and the Tuatha Dé's assassination duties. She becomes dispirited by Lugh's accelerated development, longing for him to retain more childhood innocence.

Her abilities include cooking, with Lugh acknowledging her superior culinary skills despite his own proficiency. She possesses the genetic D-Rank Aging Resistance from her Viekone heritage. After marrying Cian, she underwent rigorous Tuatha Dé-style bridal training, acquiring self-defense skills to prevent becoming a liability. This training emphasizes protecting loved ones, considered an assassin's greatest vulnerability.

In relationships, Esri adores Lugh but frequently clashes with him due to her intrusive behavior. She loves teasing him and involving herself in his personal life, though Lugh remains protective despite his annoyance. She holds considerable influence over Cian, who admits men in their family become "weak" before the women they love. Her marriage began as a rescue from exploitation, evolving into a partnership where she supports the family's endeavors while maintaining her distinct personality. She actively promotes Tarte's role in Lugh's life, viewing their bond as beneficial.
