Description
Lugh Tuatha Dé, formerly Allen Smith, was the world's preeminent assassin until his own organization eliminated him. A goddess then reincarnated him into a fantasy world as heir to the noble Tuatha Dé family, retaining his memories and skills in exchange for a critical mission: assassinate the hero after the demon lord's defeat to prevent the hero's prophesied world destruction.

Born into the Tuatha Dé clan, famed as royal physicians and covert assassins, Lugh possesses their signature Mystic Eyes, surgically transplanted from his father, Cian. These eyes grant extreme long-range vision, enhanced depth perception, motion tracking, low-light sight, mana flow perception, and the ability to detect deception through physiological cues. His appearance features spiky silver hair and grey eyes, with a crimson aura sometimes flaring in his left eye during combat. He typically wears a black assassin's coat with a high collar, red vest, fingerless gloves, and practical footwear.

Initially emotionally detached, seeing himself only as a mission tool, Lugh gradually develops compassion and loyalty in his second life. He refuses indiscriminate killing, targeting only those he deems deserving like corrupt nobles or direct threats. He forms deep bonds with family and allies, particularly his four fiancées: Dia Viekone, his cousin and childhood magic tutor; Tarte, an orphan he rescued from wolves and trained as a spear-wielding attendant; Maha, a trafficking victim he adopted and deployed as an intelligence operative; and Epona Rhiannon, the pacifistic hero whose berserker fate he aims to avert. His restraint includes avoiding early physical intimacy with Tarte and Maha to prevent exploiting their devotion, though he later acknowledges reciprocal feelings.

Lugh's capabilities blend unparalleled first-life assassination expertise with versatile magic and unique skills. Core strengths encompass mastery of stealth, poisons, firearms, blades, and hand-to-hand combat; tactical genius for preparation and analysis; and fluency in manipulating politics and economics through fronts like a cosmetics brand. His magic includes elemental spells (fire, water, wind, earth), healing, gravity manipulation, and dimensional storage. Key divine-granted skills are Rapid Recovery (S-Rank), accelerating healing, stamina, and mana regeneration one hundred-fold, trainable for higher multipliers; Spell Weaver (A-Rank), enabling invention of new spells to create modern firearms, cannons, and advanced chemicals; Limitless Growth (B-Rank), breaking natural limitations and synergizing with Rapid Recovery for exponential improvement; Martial Arts (C-Rank), enhancing reflexes and unarmed prowess; and an Unrevealed D-Rank Skill, a trump card kept secret even from the goddess for efficacy. Later, he gains Epona's Beastification (S-Rank), granting animalistic physical boosts, and My Loyal Knights (S-Rank), allowing skill-sharing with three loyal allies. His signature attack, Gungnir, summons a tungsten spear launched into low orbit via reversed gravity; upon hypersonic reentry, it impacts with thermonuclear force.

Lugh's development focuses on reconciling lethal pragmatism with newfound empathy. He protects innocents, mentors his team for autonomy, and seeks alternatives to killing Epona. His strategic innovations—deciphering the language of magic or devising methods to kill "invincible" demons—reshape his world's power balance. Despite moral complexity, his core resolve endures: to live meaningfully beyond being a mere tool.
