Description
Hina Fūma is a first-year student at Tokyo Butei High School, placed in class 1-C and holding a B-rank in the intelligence department. She is a descendant of the famed Fūma ninja clan, a lineage that historically served samurai families such as the Tohyama clan. Although the clan has largely diminished in modern times, Hina continues to practice the traditional arts of the ninja, which sets her apart from her family members who have adapted to contemporary espionage methods.

Hina presents a stark contrast between her formidable combat persona and her everyday personality. In battle, she is skilled and deadly serious, utilizing ninja techniques like stealth and kunai throwing. Outside of conflict, however, she is portrayed as somewhat ditzy, easy to fool, and lacking in common sense due to her extensive training. She is remarkably pure regarding romance and social relationships. Her dedication to the ninja aesthetic is absolute; she always wears traditional gear, including a black ponytail, a red muffler covering her lower face, shorts under her skirt, and a fundoshi instead of modern underwear, believing that revealing her bare face is more shameful than nudity.

Her primary motivation stems from an encounter during middle school. After being mocked by classmates for her ninja attire, Hina resorted to violence against anyone who laughed at her. During this period, a practice spar with Kinji Tohyama, who entered his Hysteria Mode, resulted in him easily subduing her. Since that day, she has held immense respect for Kinji, referring to him as Master. Her family, who maintain a traditional master-servant relationship with the Tohyama clan, encourages this devotion. Hina followed Kinji to Tokyo Butei High School and serves directly as his Amica.

In the story, Hina acts as a loyal subordinate and protector of Kinji, often spying on others at his request or reporting information to him. She also has a significant role mentoring Akari Mamiya. Despite working part-time jobs, which she calls training, to pay for her tuition, she frequently oversleeps. Her character development involves maintaining her traditional values while navigating modern academic life. Notably, she feels a sense of responsibility when a stolen technique from her clan, a vision poison, is used to harm others, showcasing her strong sense of honor. Her abilities are distinctly ninja-like; she uses a matchlock musket passed down through her family and can perform techniques such as Leveling the Ground, which generates intense impact through rapid full-body joint movement.
