Description
Daisuke Jigen is a professional gunman and the closest partner to the master thief Arsène Lupin III. His past is shrouded in some mystery, but various accounts indicate he was likely born in New York, possibly in the Bronx, and entered the criminal underworld at a young age. He eventually relocated to Europe, where he became involved with the Italian Mafia. It was during this period that he became close to his boss's wife, Cicciolina. When their relationship was discovered and her husband tried to kill him, Cicciolina intervened and shot her husband. Jigen took the blame to protect her, claiming the weapon as his own and being forced to flee. This firearm, a Smith & Wesson Model 19.357 Magnum revolver, would become his signature weapon. A later, tragic reunion with Cicciolina ended with her death, an event that led him to swear off killing for hire and to pursue a new path as a thief. Shortly after, he met and partnered with Lupin III, a decision that would define his life.
