Description
Ryōka Tachibana emerges as a calm, caring figure defined by unwavering loyalty to her closest friend, Amiru Sumeragi. In her civilian form, she sports dark hair, light green eyes, and glasses, which vanish during her transformation into a Reflector. This altered state transforms her hair to blonde and outfits her in a red-and-black costume. Her weapon evolves from a crimson blade into a hybrid lance-and-tuning-fork device capable of emitting wide-range sonic waves to incapacitate foes.
Driven by Amiru’s loss of emotions—a consequence of Yamada Niina extracting her Fragment—Ryōka joins Mizusaki Shino’s Rouge Reflectors, believing their faction offers the only path to restore her friend. This singular focus pushes her to clash with former allies, orchestrate Fragment thefts, and engage in ruthless battles, all while balancing strategic precision with a readiness to sacrifice herself for Amiru’s sake.
Shino’s manipulation initially secures Ryōka’s cooperation, but her allegiance remains tethered solely to Amiru’s recovery. After Amiru regains her Fragment, Ryōka pivots to aiding efforts to stabilize global emotional equilibrium, though her ultimate trajectory remains undefined.
In combat, she specializes in sonic disruption, using her tuning fork to overwhelm groups—a tactical contrast to peers favoring brute force or elemental strikes. This adaptability cements her role as both a calculated antagonist and an occasional ally, her choices perpetually steered by shifting circumstances around Amiru’s fate.
