Description
Dr. Walski is an adult male antagonist from the anime series Steel Angel Kurumi. He is depicted as a sinister and mysterious scientist whose primary goal is to capture the main Steel Angel, Kurumi, and exploit the power of her Mark II Angel Heart for his own purposes. Dr. Walski is driven by a desire for power and control, specifically the unseen powers associated with the protagonist Nakahito and the advanced technology of the Steel Angels. His role in the story is that of a recurring villain who serves as an active obstacle to the main characters. He operates from his own base and develops multiple strategies to achieve his objectives.

In his pursuit of Kurumi, Dr. Walski creates and deploys several other Steel Angels as his agents. He first sends three robots named Kaga, Tsunami, and Kaori to capture her. When they fail to defeat Kurumi, he completes the construction of a super-powerful Steel Angel named Katrinka. His ambitions also lead him to order the kidnapping of Nakahito, a boy who possesses a unique connection to the Steel Angels' power, in order to harness this ability for himself.

Physically, Dr. Walski is characterized by a distinct appearance that includes a monocle and a mustache. He has gray eyes and blonde or yellow hair that is waist-length. His key relationships are primarily antagonistic. He is an adversary to the main group, consisting of Kurumi, her companion Nakahito, and their ally Dr. Agami. The narrative establishes a direct conflict between him and Dr. Agami, as the two scientists find themselves on opposing sides, meeting face-to-face during a confrontation at the Academy Base. Dr. Walski is also the creator of Katrinka and the other Steel Angels he commands, treating them as instruments to carry out his plans.

Throughout the series, Dr. Walski shows development through his escalating attempts to capture Kurumi, progressing from sending basic units to creating more powerful angels like Katrinka. His calculated obsession with obtaining the power of the Angel Heart and Nakahito’s abilities becomes a central part of his character. Notably, the destructive power he seeks eventually turns against him, as a demonically possessed Kurumi attacks his base, illustrating the dangerous and uncontrollable nature of the forces he wishes to control. While his primary abilities lie in his scientific genius, particularly in robotics and the creation of the advanced Steel Angels, he also commands a network of agents and operates a fully equipped base to carry out his sinister agenda.
