Description
Jin Kunugi serves as the commander of TERRA, the organization central to the conflict with the Mu. His rank is Colonel, and he is a man defined by a profound and painful history. During the First Mu War, he was an officer in the Japan Self-Defense Forces under a superior named Masayoshi Kuki. Following orders from Kuki, Kunugi authorized a nuclear strike on the city of Sendai. This attack had devastating personal consequences, as his young daughter, Michiru, was in the city and was killed in the strike. This event haunts him completely; his marriage ended in divorce, and he carries the immense guilt of being directly responsible for his own child's death.
