Description
Kouto Fujisaki is a third-year high school student who transfers to Shiratori Academy, the same school Hiyori Iki attends. He comes from the countryside and moved to the city after losing his place at his family home, now living with his father. On the surface, he presents himself as a charming, polite, and easygoing upperclassman who is intelligent and athletic, often helping others because he cannot say no. Despite this, his classmates consider him a bit odd or different, describing him as a weird guy.
In reality, Kouto Fujisaki is the current human incarnation of a being known as Father, the main antagonist of the series. Father is a human who returned from Yomi, the land of the dead, and became a Crafter with the ability to control ayakashi, or phantoms. He is the creator of Yato and Nora, and considers himself their parent. Deep beneath his calm exterior, he is cold-hearted, cruel, and derives pleasure from the suffering and distress of others. He is a manipulative and calculating strategist who uses his human identity to get close to Hiyori and monitor the movements of Yato and his allies.
