Description
Ronove Lomiere is a demon student at Babylus Demon School and initial head of the rival Discipline Department, opposing the Student Council. As the sole heir of Ronove Roosevelt, owner of Walter Park theme park, his affluent lineage grants him high status and unlimited park access. Physically imposing at 188 cm, he sports tanned skin, long dark hair, pointed ears, prominent horns, and an armored reptilian tail. His flamboyant style features revealing outfits consistently adorned with a rose on his chest.
His personality blends extreme narcissism, theatrical showmanship, and an insatiable craving for attention, expressed through loud declarations and dramatic gestures. Though outwardly confident, he reveals cowardice when confronted—particularly recoiling from prolonged male physical contact. Beneath this veneer, he exhibits genuine compassion, aiding others in peril, and demonstrates a strong work ethic, yet avoids strenuous or dirty tasks like the harvest festival, reflecting his privileged upbringing.
Ronove wields hereditary Bloodline Magic: "Attention" (or "Charisma"), which forcibly focuses all nearby perception on him. This non-combative ability serves as a strategic decoy, exemplified when he diverted a monster’s focus during the Walter Park crisis to protect civilians. Academically, he excels in performances, having led his class to victory against Student Council President Ameri Azazel in the previous year’s Music Festival—a first-time fair defeat for Ameri—earning him He (Rank 5).
His arc begins with antagonism toward the Student Council, climaxing when he challenges Ameri’s presidency during her temporary personality alteration. He launches a Dissolution Election Match, using his charisma magic to rally students with promises of reduced academics and increased entertainment. After Ameri overcomes the potion’s effects and defeats him, the Discipline Department disbands. Recognizing his ambition, Ameri recruits him into the Student Council, transforming him from rival to collaborator.
Later, during the Music Festival, he and Nafra Ampsey evaluate first-year performances. His harsh critiques and disruptive "improvement" suggestions stem from his belief in passion and originality over trend-following. Despite initial friction with Nafra, they bond through shared connections like Iruma Suzuki, and his guidance elevates the festival’s quality. He mentors the Misfit Class, emphasizing teamwork and enjoyment over conformity, directly inspiring their "Hell Dance."
Ronove maintains key relationships: respecting Ameri as a rival-turned-colleague, tolerating Nafra despite her odor, and interacting warmly with Iruma Suzuki after bonding at Walter Park. He is occasionally accompanied by two SD apprentices, Migi and Dari.
