Description
Orihime Soletta appears in the anime Sakura Taisen: Sumire in a supporting role as a member of the Flower Division of the Imperial Combat Revue. She is a young woman of mixed Japanese and Italian heritage, born on July 7, 1907, in Italy. Her mother, Carino Soletta, belonged to the aristocratic Soletta family, known in the performing arts world as the Red Nobles, while her father, Seiya Ogata, was a Japanese painter. Raised on her mother's side of the family, Orihime showed artistic brilliance from an early age. She was a piano prodigy who gave recitals across Europe by the age of eight, and she later became a celebrated actress and singer, earning the nickname Daughter of the Sun in European theater circles. Because she also possessed strong spiritual power, she was recruited into the European Star Division, where she served alongside her contemporary Reni Milchstrasse. After that division was disbanded, she continued her career as an internationally recognized star before being invited to join the Flower Division of the Imperial Combat Revue in Tokyo in 1925.
