Description
Ninym Ralei, identifiable by the white hair and red eyes characteristic of her Flahm ethnicity, serves as chief aide and childhood friend to Prince Wein Salema Arbalest of Natra. Orphaned young when illness claimed both parents, she was raised alongside Wein, forging a deep bond. As a Flahm, she belongs to a persecuted continental minority, though protected in Natra due to their unique talents and historical royal service. Ninym is a direct descendant of the Flahm founder, destined to lead the Ralei clan, which traditionally serves Natra's royalty.

Her calm, intelligent, and serious demeanor underpins her competence in managing government affairs and military logistics. Among the few privy to Wein's inherently lazy and reluctant nature, she frequently prods him back to duty, sometimes employing subtle physical corrections like pen-poking. Despite her strictness, profound loyalty and care for Wein and Natra define her. She exhibits occasional jealousy regarding Wein's interactions with noblewomen, even while acknowledging the probability of his political marriage. Trusted by nobles and commoners alike, she resolves misunderstandings involving Wein through fair judgment.

Trained alongside Wein at the Earthworld Empire's Royal Academy, her abilities encompass combat proficiency, espionage, leadership, and diplomatic strategy, enabling her to eliminate threats from assassins to enemy generals. She handles complex administration, negotiates with foreign dignitaries, and commands effectively during crises in Wein's absence. Her sharp intellect anticipates political maneuvers, providing critical counsel.

Her relationship with Wein is central. He calls her "my heart," symbolizing their deep mutual trust and emotional connection. While maintaining formal subordinate decorum publicly, their private interactions feature teasing, banter, and shared vulnerability. Ninym values being Wein's confidante but initially dismisses marriage due to social disparity. Their bond evolves into a romantic partnership, culminating in marriage despite societal expectations.

External forces, including the Holy King and the schemer Caldmellia, seek to exploit Ninym's heritage for political or religious agendas, viewing her lineage as a tool to influence the Flahm. Ninym herself shows little interest in Flahm revivalism, prioritizing her duties to Wein and Natra. Her development solidifies her role not only as Wein's indispensable aide but also as a key architect of Natra's stability and his equal in leadership.
