Description
Manfred Earthworld, the Earthworld Empire's third prince, sports blond hair and blue eyes that enhance his outwardly elegant and gentle appearance. He exhibits formidable political acumen, excelling in negotiation, talent identification, and discerning individuals' motivations. This skill allows him to effectively assess threats to his position.

Originally excluded from the succession, Manfred seized power from his brother Demetrio when the emperor refrained from naming an heir. He strategically built a faction of capable courtiers to bolster his political standing. During a meeting of the imperial princes, he recognized Prince Wein Salema Arbalest of Natra as a significant future threat to the empire, concluding Wein's ambition precluded his submission to Manfred's authority.

This assessment drove Manfred to plot Wein's assassination. He orchestrated a poisoning intended for Wein, which Demetrio accidentally consumed. The incident triggered a capital crisis. To evade responsibility and consolidate power, Manfred framed Demetrio for instigating the turmoil, weakening the first prince's influence and expanding his own political base.

Manfred's rise included promises of expanded provincial autonomy to regional supporters craving self-governance. While this strategy secured crucial backing, the extent to which he would honor them remained uncertain. He wielded eloquent persuasion to weave compelling visions that made others dream.

His operational methods emphasized pragmatism. After initially holding Wein in high regard, Manfred's perception shifted following their direct interaction, solidifying his view of Wein as a danger requiring elimination. This decision reflected his consistent approach of systematically eliminating perceived threats to his path to power.
