Description
Mito Fujimori is the 14-year-old shrine maiden (miko) supporting the hero Utano Shiratori in the Suwa region while attending middle school. She possesses fair skin, chocolate-brown hair and eyes, and stands 152 cm tall. Her hair features one large central section draping down, and she often wears a choker. For shrine duties, she dons a traditional white haori over a long red dress; her civilian attire includes a school uniform or casual jacket and jeans.

Reserved, quiet, and timid, Mito deeply cares for those close to her. She forms a profound bond with Utano, her best friend and the hero she guides. This central relationship sometimes stirs jealousy when Utano interacts closely with other heroes like Wakaba, though Mito's dedication to Utano remains steadfast, shown through her encouragement during critical battles.

Mito channels divine oracles from the Shinju (Divine Tree), receiving visions as visual symbols and stars rather than audible voices. Her essential role involves interpreting these visions to predict Vertex attack patterns—including their numbers, strength, and trajectories. This foresight allows her to direct Utano to her divine whip and formulate strategies against threats, proving vital to Utano's combat effectiveness.

Her narrative centers on supporting Utano during Suwa's Vertex assaults. Awakening as a miko at the onset of these attacks, she immediately begins guiding Utano. In their final battle, Mito motivates Utano by promising everyone will eat their vegetables, symbolizing hope for normalcy. This battle tragically results in her death, cementing her role as a sacrificial figure dedicated to Utano's mission.

Mito has unnamed parents and grandparents. Specific family dynamics or personal history beyond her role as a miko remain unexplored. In the *Churutto!* spin-off, she appears among the 27 heroes and shrine maidens summoned to Sanshu Middle School during the Shinju's crisis.
