Description
Allenby Beardsley is the Gundam Fighter representing Neo Sweden in the 13th Gundam Fight. Born on July 24, in the Future Century calendar year 0043, she is seventeen years old and stands 155 centimeters tall. As the pilot of the GF13-050NSW Nobel Gundam, she is noted for being both one of the youngest competitors and the only female fighter to participate in the tournament's final stages. Orphaned at a young age, she was taken in by the Neo Swedish Space Forces and raised within a military facility, eventually holding the rank of lieutenant. Her upbringing was not a happy one, as she was subjected to a series of cruel experiments designed to create the perfect Gundam Fighter. The culmination of these experiments was the Berserker System, a technology that uses specific frequencies to dramatically boost her fighting capabilities by 120 percent, turning her into an uncontrollable and savage combatant. While the system made her virtually unstoppable in battle, it came at a great emotional and psychological cost, as she disliked losing control of herself. Despite this harsh background, Allenby, when not under the system's influence, is a free-spirited, kind-hearted, and cheerful young woman. Her initial rebellious attitude toward her military handlers changed after she met Domon Kasshu, with whom she found a common bond, as both became Gundam Fighters against their own will.

Allenby first encountered Domon in a video game arcade, where she had been defeating all challengers in a fighting simulator until their match resulted in a tie. When they later faced each other in the official Gundam Fight, the Neo Swedish military forcibly activated her Berserker System. Domon was able to overload the system by reaching out to her, and although the resulting trauma caused her to lose the match, the technicians behind the system discontinued its use, believing she no longer needed it. Following this, she became one of Domon's closest friends and a frequent training partner, earning the respect of Master Asia, who initially dismissed her as merely lucky but later admitted he was wrong and that she had the potential to be a great fighter. Allenby developed strong romantic feelings for Domon, which created a silent but palpable jealousy in his partner, Rain Mikamura. Allenby is perceptive enough to recognize Rain's feelings for Domon but continues to spend time with him regardless, being somewhat flirtatious. Her motivations are rooted in a desire for genuine connection and to fight on her own terms, seeking meaning beyond being a tool for her nation's military ambitions.

Allenby's role in the story becomes more tragic when she is manipulated by the villainous Wong Yunfat. He creates a copy of the Berserker System and uses it to disrupt a tag team match, causing her to go berserk. In the ensuing chaos, she is kidnapped and infected with DG cells, the same corrupting agents that power the Devil Gundam. Transformed into Devil Allenby, she is forced to pilot the Walter Gundam, one of the Devil Gundam's Four Heavenly Kings. In this state, she is savage and fixated on fighting Domon. She is eventually confronted and saved by Rain Mikamura, who fights her in the Rising Gundam and succeeds in removing the DG cells. This event serves as a key moment of development, as Rain becomes the one to rescue Allenby, shifting the dynamic between the two rivals. After being freed, Allenby joins forces with other eliminated Gundam Fighters to form the World Gundam Federation and participates in the final assault against the Devil Gundam. In the climax, when Domon is at his lowest point and despairs over how to reach Rain, who has been absorbed by the Devil Gundam, Allenby provides the crucial emotional push he needs. She confesses her own love for him but tells him that the only way she can move on with her life is if he honestly admits his true feelings to Rain. This selfless act of encouragement allows Domon to finally confess, leading to the destruction of the Devil Gundam.

As a fighter, Allenby is highly skilled in military martial arts due to her lifelong training. Her natural abilities are considerable, with Master Asia even commenting that her potential is not below Domon's. However, her most notable and controversial ability is tied to the Berserker System. When activated, her hair turns red and her eyes glow, and she becomes a savage, nearly unstoppable force. While this system was officially discontinued by Neo Sweden after her match with Domon, a copy was later used to control her again. Despite the trauma and manipulation she endures, Allenby survives the ordeal and the final battle, demonstrating resilience and a capacity for selfless love that defines her character arc. She ultimately lets go of her own hopes for a relationship with Domon to ensure his happiness with Rain, proving her strength is not just physical but also emotional.
