Description
In Lupin III: Part III, the character Oscar is Daisuke Jigen, the marksman and longtime partner of master thief Lupin III. He is a calm and professional gunman who appears at Lupin's side more often than any other member of the crew, serving as his right-hand man, aide-de-camp, and closest friend within the group.
His background is only partly explained. He is believed to have once worked as a bodyguard and assassin for American criminal organizations, and one commonly told account holds that he was an American mobster who fled to Japan, adopted a Japanese identity, and took the name Jigen.
