Description
Jason Bates is a character from the anime Devilman Lady. He is an American scientist working for the Samuelson Institute, where he leads research into the Devil Beast Syndrome and the nature of Devilmen. It is later revealed that he is himself a Devilman, known as Bates Devilman.
In his human form, Jason is a Caucasian man with a fit build, short blonde hair, and blue eyes. He typically wears a white lab coat over a buttoned jacket and pants, with a black shirt and a necklace featuring a gray slab. When he transforms into his Devilman state, his skin turns purple and his hair grows longer. He gains red eyes, a pair of large horns, and black fur covering the lower half of his body. In his most powerful form, Giga Bates, he grows to enormous size and sprouts a pair of large wings on his back.
Jason’s personality stands in contrast to that of the protagonist, Jun Fudo.
