Description
Murasaki Suminawa is a young woman from a samurai clan and the granddaughter of Clan Elder Suminawa. She is engaged to Goemon Ishikawa XIII, a skilled ronin and close ally of the master thief Lupin III. At the beginning of the story, Murasaki and Goemon are about to be married in a traditional ceremony. The celebration is violently interrupted when members of the Fuma Clan attack the wedding, kidnap Murasaki, and demand the Suminawa family heirloom, an ancient urn that holds the secret to a hidden family treasure, as ransom for her safe return.
